At Watani Steel Company, we operate a diverse range of activities organized into three strategic business units - Scrap cutting and shredding, Steel billet manufacturing, Reinforcing steel (rebar) production. Watani Steel owns the largest scrap cutting, shredding, and sorting machine in the world. This machine provides the company with all the iron scrap required for the production of steel billets. Billets are semi-finished solid steel blocks, typically in a square cross-section. They are used as the primary raw material in rolling mills, where they are processed into steel products such as reinforcing bars (rebar), angles, square bars, flat bars, rails, and structural beams. Watani Steel is manufactured in accordance with approved Saudi standards, as well as American (ASTM) and European specifications.
