Features

  • The Type BR rail clamp is used for securing low speed rail with either parallel or tapered flanges up to 8°. It has a flat top to allow the bolt head or nut to rotate on a hardened washer and can also be used with studs, tie rods or J-bolts. The skirt on the underside of the clamp abuts the edge of the beam flange and prevents the clamp rotating during installation. Can also be used to connect low speed rail to concrete with the use of a suitable anchor device for the torque values shown below. Manufactured from malleable iron with zinc plated or hot dip galvanised finish to provide high performance and anti-corrosion protection. Simple cost effective solution. For low speed rail applications only. Flat top allows the bolt head or nut to rotate on a hardened washer. For parallel and tapered flanges up to and including 8°. Contact Lindapter to ensure suitability of the component for application. Please ensure the anchor device is suitable for the torque value in the data table.
