Service Description Structural rehabilitation of concrete structures represents an important aspect of engineering and construction. The need to rehabilitate facilities may be necessary at any time from the beginning of construction until the end-of-service phase of the building. The need for rehabilitation during construction phase may have occurred due to fail in design, reduced concrete resistance or poor implementation. On the other hand, the need for rehabilitation during the service period refer to earthquake or the occurrence of accidents in the concrete structure such as collisions, fires and explosions. In these cases, we use the design process to support and strengthen the structural elements of the building using methods of dealing with situation of building, one of these method is enlargement the concrete section of concrete element and that will be using concrete jacketing method, or we use modern techniques such as supporting the concrete elements using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer CFRP system.
